With the help of Nigel Riches we were able to obtain a large quantity of children's books that we could us for any current projects. Lorraine Pugh was involved in sorting through these and we were then able to help two good causes in need of support.
Community Playlink is a childrens charity that has a focus on helping to provide children with the foundations for a good start in life. The books will be used as part of a free loaning scheme for families as well as to assist with playtime sessions and helping parents interact with children during early years. The books will encourage and support parents when sharing and reading to their children.
The Ukrainian Language club have also been directed to CPL and are active in enjoying the benefits of what can be provided.
