Southampton Solent Rotary were pleased to support the St Annes School Team in the 2023/24 Rotary Youth Speaks competition.
The team of Zunaira, Caitlin and Hamdi recently presented at a Rotary lunch and showed why they are an exceptional group and well supported by their teacher Hannah James. This Intermediate Youth Team started by winning the first round of the competition at Romsey. They then won the second round in Salisbury before winning the District Final at Mountbatten School, Romsey. The next conquest was the South East Regional Finals where they achieved a ‘clean sweep’ of the prizes, winning the debate competition as well as ‘Best Proposer’, ‘Best Chair and ‘Best Opposer’.
Southampton Solent Rotary will continue to support the competition and is proud of the commitment and achievement of our team from St Annes School, Southampton.
