After a year of preparation the BIG BAND event took place in the garden of the Concorde Club on Sunday 30th June. Over 360 paying guests had a great day in the sunshine with music from the Fifinells, The Swing Unlimited Band and the Lindy Hop dancers. A silent auction and raffle helped make this a really great day and benefitted local good causes. Over £1700 will be given to Wessex Heartbeat supporting the much needed Heartbeat House near the general hospital. Whilst figures are yet to be annouced we expect a further £3500- £4000 will benefit other local good causes in the Southampton area.
