Once again Solent Rotary have supported the Cedar School Fete and fundraising. With a number of different games and activities the Rotary team (led by Norman Fairchild) made a it day to remember. Norman has created and array of games over many years and continues to be a great supporter of Solent Rotary activities.

Southampton Solent Rotary recently awarded honourary membership to Jasper Gibbons (Jazz), recognising 55 years service to Rotary. Jazz joined Southampton West Rotary in 1971 and has been and active and committed Rotarian in many club initiatives and charitable work. Although unable to continue attending meetings, Ralph Crump (Club President) recently visited him in his Lyndhurst Care Home to present a certificate and recognition of his years of service above self.

Solent Rotary have continued it support of a womens refuge in the Southampton area. Easter eggs have been supplied for all children as well as bags and novelties for the traditional Easter Egg Hunt. The club are proud to support the local community.
